Have Your Noticed The New Trend to
Natural-Looking Breast Implants?

Hollywood has been a-twitter with features and posts about Kate Hudson and Megan Fox's breast implants—and natural is the new word in California breast enhancements! Kate and Megan both eschewed the old "bigger is always better" trend, chosing implants that look natural and appropriate to their body size—both women are 5'6". Check out how naturally beautiful Kate's new breasts look on the photo here. If we didn't know better, we'd swear it was Mother Nature!

These two actresses' appearance contrasts markedly with Heidi Montag's huge F cup implants, which make her look so top-heavy one wonders if she might tip over. There's a new trend spreading all over the world—a move to more normal-looking breast implants, with a lovely, soft cleavage that doesn't shout "IMPLANTS" when you look at these savvy women. Now, that doesn't mean "small", but a final cup size around a C or D cup, rather than the DD and larger results chosen by celebrities such as Pamela Anderson, Dolly Parton and other Hollywood A-Listers.

It's often the case that when an opportunity like breast implants is available, some women think it's time to really make a statement with overly large implants that, while making a statement, aren't appropriate to their height, weight and body size. It's been my experience over the past half-year or so that the pendlum is swinging in the direction of a very natural .look in implants. Women now want to look natural and proportionate, not just big and busty. Curves are beautiful, boulders not so much.

Choosing breast implants that enhance your look, rather than being the main event, results in a silhouette that's gorgeous and feminine. Plus, did you know that today's implants offer not just sizing options but projection and shape as well? Sometimes a smaller implant with more projection creates a more natural appearance than a bigger implant with a more rounded shape. And, after all, the end goal is to be more beautiful and more self-confident, right?

If you're thinking about breast implants, we hope you'll come and visit us to discuss all the options, as there are many.

Shape: Implants may be either round or teardrop in shape

Profile: The profile of your breast implants, also known as "projection", determines how far they will "stick out"from the chest wall. Implants generally come in high, medium, or low profile.

Texture: The exterior shell of an implant may be either textured or smooth.

ELLE Magazine touts multicolored eyes and disheveled waves on the catwalk at Derek Lam's 2010 spring collection

Emily Hebert at Elle Magazine reports that Derek Lam's 2010 spring collection was replete with a new beauty look—colorful eye makeup, courtesy of makeup artist Tom Pecheux. The rainbow eyes look is all about a mix of vibrant colors combined together to create a playful palette. Coupled with Orlando Pita's curly updo, the look is deconstructed and tempestuous!

Swimsuit Fashion

1. Not as tight-fitting as other 'spray on' monokinis this season, Amanda Wakeley's white one-piece pairs a deep neck line with cut-away sides.

2. A two-piece with a bandeau top, this bikini by Carmen Marc uses the cut-away trend with subtlety on the bottom piece. All the same, these cutaway briefs are more than eye catching.

3. A monokini by Carmen Marc, this swimwear piece is equally as subtle as the aforementioned two-piece, but far more demure.

4. Similar to Amanda Wakeley's white one-piece (1) this screen-printed monokini is from Miss Sixty.

5. The most luxurious of the pieces featured, this almost-two-piece monokini from Gottex pairs a halter-neck top, joined briefs, and gold piping.

6 - 10. are all from the one catwalk which screamed sex, decadence, and youth; the one catwalk that really grabbed my eye at New York Fashion Week; Hervé Léger by Max Azria Spring/Summer 2009. With enough cut-away than you can possibly wear throughout Summer, these are knock-out pieces that you're not necessarily going to want to get wet.
